The Pottawatomie County Sheriff’s Office has issued a Silver Alert for a 51-year-old man who was last seen Wednesday morning.

The alert states James Murphy was last seen around 3 a.m. Wednesday near Lake Road in Shawnee.Advertisement

Authorities said Murphy is deaf and autistic and has the mental capacity of a 13-year-old.

No other details have been released at this time. Anyone with information about Murphy’s location is asked to call authorities.
